BIOGRAPHY
In his first solo exhibition, Lair Uaracy looks at the arduous and fascinating world of painting. With "Genuine Expression" the artist proposes to think about the archetypes of representation linked to the human figure, in his case of the portraits. The works are produced frenetically and have strong influence of the new media and technology, as in a fast food where the history of art is food without much time to be digested. The desire and possibility of ecstasy seems to be romantic search, begun there in the late eighteenth century and inaugurating the modern era, still runs in our veins and the interest of the new painters is evident by such an attitude.
Lair's work has expressionist attitude, the center of gravity of the body is the look. As of the foolish, who lose himself when he finds himself; umbilical cord connecting the ground to the sky. Or as the reflection of the stars in the sea illuminating the great ballet of the golden mermaids to the sound of LSD.
